Why does my clutch pedal stuck to the floor.
Replacing the cable will allow you to engage the clutch and change gears once more.
That is because the hydraulic system has failed if it is hydraulic.
Do not attempt to start the engine and drive the vehicle with the clutch pedal stuck all the way to the floor.
Top off as necessary.
As i mentioned in my post on 02 01 15.
I m driving along and my clutch is just fine i press down to shift gears and it just goes to the floor and stays.
You could damage the clutch the clutch fork or the transmission.
Open the bleeder screw and have an assistant press the clutch pedal to the floor.
Common reasons for this to happen.
Clutch pedal falls to floor no more.
2 i then tried to dip the clutch pedal but it was resting in a position unusually low down to the floor.
3 i figured out that i could use my foot to manually lift the pedal back up to the normal position but the problem keeps happening quite frequently.
The clutch pedal would not go down far enough to allow the ignition to engage.
With a little more effort pressure on said pedal it felt like it popped and then went far enough for the ignition to engage.
The darned pedal did not return again sticking to the floor.
If it isn t hydraulic then it means the cable let loose.

It won t come out of gear so i just brake.
Slowly release the clutch pedal to its fullest extension and recheck the reservoir fluid level.
While holding the clutch pedal to the floor close the bleed screw.
Ever hyperextend your knee when you step on your clutch pedal and it goes to the floor with no resistance.
